She stares, the bird stares back.
Majestic, Mysterious,
A royal of the deep.
No sailor can recall the name of the creature who carried them away, That dark stormy night, upon the high swelling seas.
‘I wish she would tell those stories to me’ says my loved one, sailing forth to open sea. ‘She will not steal you from me.’ I cried and waved goodbye
